Story Of My Hair

Hey guys! Did curling irons exist 5 years ago? I don't know, but I just bought one and it's amazing! Before, it would take 8 hours to curl my hair. Now, 15 mins and I'm all set! I don't even need to put on hairspray! TECHNOLOGY HAPPENED, thank goodness!

I haven't forgotten you guys (of course not)! I don't know what to write these past few days. I don't have outfit pics. I have been busy with life. Plus, the boyfriend was here the whole week last week so you can just imagine me all giddy and happy! Hahaha!

Hopefully next week, my life will be in its normal order.
Hopefully, I'll have outfit pics.
Hopefully, I'll have idea puke.

And then you'll be be sick of me - I hope not!

PS: Below are pictures of my natural hair. I'd like to think it's like Carrie Bradshaw's but that'd be like shooting the moon! Hahaha! I've always had my hair rebonded/straightened eversince I could remember and the reason why I do is straight hair's easier to manage. Curly hair means wax, anti-frizz serum, leave-on conditioner, etc. - and that's way too hassle for lazy me. Ü

brace-face - spell AWKWARD!

with my girlfriends - my "roman era" look - was so pale!

Take care you guys! xxx

Cracked Nails

Ooooopps! Sorry for putting my feet in front of you! Ü.. Anyway, cracked nails.. I tried this on Monday for the very first time. I've seen this on magazines and in WIWT and I thought that it's painstakingly done. Man.. I feel like a hermit. So, my mission this week is to buy one (or two?) of these nail polishes. I want it in red and black.

Where? What brands?

Take care you guys! xxx

Smoky, Smokin'

I swear, titling (is this even a word?) a blog entry is hard and I remember one time in Multiply (I used to blog there until they closed it) another blogger complimented my titles. Apparently I'm good at it and it really made my day! It's equivalent to being told I'm pretty! Whatevs - it's hard!

Anyway, while I'm super crazy over lipsticks (I can't get enough of them!), I'm not fond of make-up in general. I use blusher and lipstick and that's it. I don't wear foundation because I think it hinders me to laugh. Rarely though, I wear eyeliner with my nude lipsticks.

I love the smoky winged-eye look and God knows how many times I've practiced how to do it but wasn't at all successful. One time, I forgot to wash my face and was surprised to see myself like this after I bathed the next morning:

Ha-ha! But guess what, I was finally successful this morning (sans the mascara, eyelash curler, and all the other eye stuff because I don't own any):

What I did was I put tons of eyeliner on my upper and lower lids, then I softly dabbed the upper lid using my fingers, and then I used cotton buds to erase the line on my inner lids to further achieve the illusion.

So I guess now you see how little I know about make-up which would make you think, "why would I listen to her?" Ha-ha! xxx
