What I Wore Last Week (Feb. 20 - Feb. 24)

Hey guys I hope you had a great weekend!

Well, I went home (in the province) that's why I wasn't able to upload outfit pics on WIWT for the past 3 days. It's my father's 62nd birth anniversary on the 24th. Two of my siblings didn't go home. It would've been nicer if they're there. I still had a blast though. I spent most of my time being a sales lady at our clothing store. Here's a pic:

Anyway, I am now the # 20 trending user. Hahaha! Oh well! Ü..

BTW, I just successfully pasted my WIWT widget here. It's at the bottom! Check it! Here's my status.

What I Wore Last Week (Feb. 12 - Feb. 18)

My outfits last week basically just consisted of dresses, comfy footwear, and my black square XOXO bag (which has become my super favorite). BO-R-I-N-G! I am in the morning shift, which starts at 5am so I don't really have time for some outfit-sprucing. Can you believe I literally run my way to work most of the time? Well, believe it coz I do. It's actually my only physical activity lately.

Dresses rock. For me, they're the best investment. I mean, you can just wear it with chunky accessories and you got yourself a smokin' outfit. Plus, it's easy to move around in it!

    Naya's Christening

Hello everyone! How's your weekend? Mine's pretty busy and I am going to share it to you guys. Sometimes, I think that I probably share too much personal information on my blog. Oh hell! Ü

So let me start with Naya Brielle Ybanez' christening held at San Roque Parish in Liloan Cebu City. Naya is my bestfriend Grasya's daughter. Now, I may not be good with kids but I take my resposibility as a godmother seriously. I am always here for you Naya! Welcome to the Christian world!

The Seminar.  No, I don't smoke.

At the church - with the other godmothers and godfathers who're my friends as well.

To Speak Or Not To Speak

My friend once jokingly told me to sometimes keep my opinions to myself because it would get me killed. We were actually just talking about a pair of shoes worn by someone at that time and in retrospect, it's funny but thinking about it now, she might be right.

I am a very opinionated person and sometimes, people get hurt in the process. I don't do it to hurt others. I am just being honest. I am a believer of the "honesty is the best policy" mantra. I think that if everybody's only honest and not get offended by people who are honest, the world be a much better place to live.

My father was murdered and he's like me, or I'm like him. He has principles and always expresses his honest opinions. I guess that's why people love him. I guess that's why bad people hate him. Could his being like that be the reason for his murder? Only God knows but it'd be sad if it was.

So my question is, at which point should a person stop speaking her/his mind? Happy weekend guys! xxx

My Take On Ricky Lo's Interview With Anne Hathaway

I just knew about it like an hour ago. I read the whole interview text and here's what I have to say.

I agree to what other people are saying, that Ricky Lo could've asked questions about the whole movie production and not about the actress' weight loss and stuff like that. I think that, him asking those types of questions is corny. I myself would be constantly rolling my eyes in my thoughts.

Having said  all of that, I think that Anne Hathaway could've been nicer. I WOULD BE! If she's not in the mood for the interview, she could've just acted that she was. She's an actress after all! Besides, being tired or being not in the mood is not an excuse not to be nice. We always have to be, regardless of who we're talking to and what mood we're in. I'm all to being true to oneself and to what one is feeling but this is one of those rare moments when one needs to pretend to be nice. So now I'm thinking, maybe Anne Hathaway's really a bitch. What do you think?

    Dumaguete Weekend

My love left for UAE last weekend. :( I went to Manila to be with him (we took pics but they're in his phone) for a few hours. His flight was at around 5 pm so from there, I went straight to my second favorite place in my country, Dumaguete City. I was sad and I missed him and I needed to be with a family and to be in a place close to home. Kab, who's with me in Cebu was busy with work so I went to my youngest brother, Mac - my almost twin.

There we ate, talked, drank, watched UFC 156, and walked around the city. I'm not sure I did the right thing to mend my misery though, because now I miss both my love and my brother! Tsk. Anyway, here are pics I took:

I arrived and immediately went to the famous Sans Rival Bistro. It's their 2nd and latest branch and it's just by the boulevard so the view's fantastic. I had 2 cakes and that 1-million calorie iced coffee frap.

My brother only had water! Ha-ha! He had coffee bitaw! He doesn't like sweets.

Here we were at Hayahay. It used to be our party place when I was in college (that's like 10 years ago!). The place's still hopping and I saw few familiar faces. Two bands played. The first one's very original. Their genre's reggae rock - the vocalist is so cool! The second band's grunge/rock/rapmetal. Only the last 3 songs were rockin' - not a fan. Apparently their last gig there.

Hayahay's everything-on-it pizza! It's my fave. Can you believe my brother and I ate all 12 inches of it? Their hot sauce is like no other.

Cold breezy aftie. Again at Sans Rival Bistro. I had my brother wore my sunnies.

And I wore his sunnies. I was waiting for my cakes.

This is our view. See? You can't blame me for not wanting to go back to Cebu.

The place is named after this cake, sans rival. It's their specialty obviously. It's superb! My brother actually thought that Sans Rival's the name of the owner! Silly him!

Balot, anyone? Manang, the vendor, took this pic. There were 2 of these, the other one's way worse! Ü

The famous Boulevard (of broken and drunken dreams!).

What we ate at the Kabayoan - utok sa baboy (pig brain - which is one of our favest), calderetang kanding, kawali, and sinugbang baboy

Last hurrah before going back to Cebu, again at Sans Rival. This time, we went to their original branch. I LOVE CAKES!

Again, my brother only had coffee.
    'Til next time! xxx
