My 30th Birthday Pictures

I would like to share with you guys pics from my recent 30th birthday! I celebrated it a lot of times and the conclusion was last Saturday's disco where I danced like there's no tomorrow, my bones are still aching! Whew!

Thirty years on earth is something. I am excited for the future! I can't wait to be 40! Enjoy! xxx

AUGUST 10, 2013
my brother, Kab, treated me to lunch on my birthday! Thanks Kab!!!
This was at Crab King, a Singaporean style restaurant. I told the waiters that it's my birthday and voila, special treatment! Or maybe they're really just nice.. Ü.. Anyway, this is a huge, HUGE crab and it's delish but pricey.

On the night of my birthday, I treated myself to my first love: ROCK N ROLL!!! My friends Vanessa Rhea Labesig and Douey Joy Cagud went to the Tanduay T5 Party. It's in an open field and there was a lot of people. I came to see my favorites Wolfgang and Rico Blanco! I had a blast! Remember Woodstuck? Yup, it felt like it!

Rock N Roll means oily, make-up free face! hahahaha!

AUGUST 11, 2013
I went to see my family in Cagayan de Oro city the next day. This is my birthday cake! It's from Red Ribbon. This is huge and it's cheap at Php 650. We just bought flowerettes. Oh and btw, I was the one who put the candles that's why it's crooked. Decorating isn't my niche.

and the obligatory cake pose! hahahaha! my ate (elder sister)  had dinner catered! thanks te! This is the pic I uploaded on WIWT.

my cousin Hazel, my aunts Jean and Teresa, and my uncle Rey

my cousins dj and damdam - they've grown!!!

This moment right here is priceless. These are my siblings.. I don't know what to do without them..

AUGUST 12, 2013
and the queen of my heart, my mother! I had fun taking pics of her while we're in the hotel. She's the strongest person I know.

This is at Seda Hotel. There's triple red alert but it didn't stop us from having fun! My family is the best! Of course we miss our Papa, but I know he's just right there with us, having fun as well! Ü

And the disco at MO2! It was a bomb! I had to take my shoes off! Actually, I didn't really dance. I was jumping and jogging and shouting - all at the same time! hahahaha! Van gave me my tiara - it was so pretty! It suited douey more but it was mine so I wore it!
Again, THANK YOU!!! It was my best birthday, more than anything because I was with my family! My family rocks! And just like the cliche, I must have done someone right to deserve them.. Godpseed! xxx

Dumaguete Weekend

My love left for UAE last weekend. :( I went to Manila to be with him (we took pics but they're in his phone) for a few hours. His flight was at around 5 pm so from there, I went straight to my second favorite place in my country, Dumaguete City. I was sad and I missed him and I needed to be with a family and to be in a place close to home. Kab, who's with me in Cebu was busy with work so I went to my youngest brother, Mac - my almost twin.

There we ate, talked, drank, watched UFC 156, and walked around the city. I'm not sure I did the right thing to mend my misery though, because now I miss both my love and my brother! Tsk. Anyway, here are pics I took:

I arrived and immediately went to the famous Sans Rival Bistro. It's their 2nd and latest branch and it's just by the boulevard so the view's fantastic. I had 2 cakes and that 1-million calorie iced coffee frap.

My brother only had water! Ha-ha! He had coffee bitaw! He doesn't like sweets.

Here we were at Hayahay. It used to be our party place when I was in college (that's like 10 years ago!). The place's still hopping and I saw few familiar faces. Two bands played. The first one's very original. Their genre's reggae rock - the vocalist is so cool! The second band's grunge/rock/rapmetal. Only the last 3 songs were rockin' - not a fan. Apparently their last gig there.

Hayahay's everything-on-it pizza! It's my fave. Can you believe my brother and I ate all 12 inches of it? Their hot sauce is like no other.

Cold breezy aftie. Again at Sans Rival Bistro. I had my brother wore my sunnies.

And I wore his sunnies. I was waiting for my cakes.

This is our view. See? You can't blame me for not wanting to go back to Cebu.

The place is named after this cake, sans rival. It's their specialty obviously. It's superb! My brother actually thought that Sans Rival's the name of the owner! Silly him!

Balot, anyone? Manang, the vendor, took this pic. There were 2 of these, the other one's way worse! Ü

The famous Boulevard (of broken and drunken dreams!).

What we ate at the Kabayoan - utok sa baboy (pig brain - which is one of our favest), calderetang kanding, kawali, and sinugbang baboy

Last hurrah before going back to Cebu, again at Sans Rival. This time, we went to their original branch. I LOVE CAKES!

Again, my brother only had coffee.
'Til next time! xxx

Sinulog 2013

The past weekend's one of the most unforgettable for me not only because I got a tattoo but most of all, because my Kuya (elder brother) was here, which doesn't always happen. He doesn't travel or, well, he couldn't travel a lot because he's left with our mother in the province. He just broke up with his girlfriend so we joked that he came here to heal his broken heart. Ha-ha!

So I was with my 3 brothers and it honestly felt like I have fence around me - in a good way. I was overwhelmed with so much protection. I love feeling this way and even if my brothers aren't perfect in more ways than one, they are perfect for/to me. I love these men so much.

We ate, partied nonstop, ate, partied nonstop, ate... you know the drill.. Oh, there was beer shower so we're all wet, sticky, and stinky! Yikes! Ü

Here are pics I took that weekend:

younger bro Kab, moi, Kuya
"lugar lang nong" - our driver (because it's his car)
It was Kab who insisted we had photo op with superb film director Joey Reyes. He partied with the crowd - he's so cool!
youngest brother mac2, moi, kuya
kab, mac2, our cousin titi, kuya - breakfast was my treat! They're super big-eaters so thank goodness it's just at a cheap eatery!

sometimes i wonder what people (who don't know they're my brothers) think when i'm always the only girl with them - not that people would notice but yeah.. you know what i mean..kebs!

drunk, stinky, inked, and loved - I had the best time of my life!
the people, young and old - who paid for the beer-shower?
my dear kuya - our protector and forever the got-to guy because he knows a lot of things. He's one of the brainest people I know.
lunch at STK
what could be more perfect than beer + pizza + family + party?
mac2 waiting for breakfast - food delivery anyone?
looking at it now.. kind of yucky, don't you think?
titi
testosterone overload
because I seldom see them around - photo op with the SWAT men! Hello sirs!
happy that he's not the driver!
NOT. DRUNK.
'Til next year! xxx

INKED

So, you know how other people have a list of things to do before they die? Well I have one myself except that my list is only until before I turn 30. There's only 10 on my list and last week, I was able to fulfill 2! One of them's this - get a tattoo.

Yeah, I know, it's so "A Walk To Remember"?! What? I love tattoos and I've always wanted to have one since 5 years ago but when I mentioned it to my father, he disapproved. It was the only time my father openly and directly told me not to do something. So I didn't do it. When he was murdered, my siblings and I agreed that we're going to each have tattoos to honor/remember him. Thus, this. The number 1023 is for October 23, the day he was murdered.

My love, who in a lot of ways, is really like my father (I become speechless at how alike they are sometimes), doesn't like me having it and told my brothers about disliking me having it. My youngest brother admired him for his honesty. But I told him that it's something I have to do because I want it for myself and I'll do it with my family. He said "ok" but when I asked if he likes it when it was done, he said he doesn't. Ha-ha! I love him for being so honest!

Here are our pics:

Monkeys and a Princess.. Hahahaha!
Kuya's

Kab's 1

Kab's 2
Mac-mac's
my brothers whom i love soooo much!

HERE'S HOW MINE'S DONE:

Plastar
it's like ear surgery! ha-ha!

I already anticipated that it would be really painful especially because mine's on the bone area but it wasn't. I wasn't at all!

He said he needs to be really careful because it's near my neck, he might kill me! I got so nervous after that - I wouldn't wanna die in a tattoo parlor!
with the artist, Loni. He's so nice and talented. Great work!
And here's mine! Musical notes because I love music more than anything in this world. (Music) It's something I think I'm natural at.
we're like old friends with the artist after 2 days of tattoo sessions and cases of beer!

he took a lot of pics of us in his cam! hehe.. I guess he likes us too!

Now I'm inked for life and I love it! I'm actually thinking of doing it again. Definitely, soon! xxx
